Who We Are
We are a brand that’s all about inclusive disruption and lifting up community, through scratch-cooked meals. Edgy, unvarnished, real, authentic, celebrating the little moments, the shared moments, the moments at home. We believe the world can be different, it can work for everyone, and for us that starts with scratch-cooked meals.
We love everything about meals - from cooking and sharing them, to the meaning and memories they evoke. Our meals are scratch-cooked, filled with flavor, using recipes and ingredients inspired by the traditions and recipes of the communities we serve. Tailored to different lifestyles, preferences and tastes - allowing you to live life, your way.
We take community seriously. Our mission since the beginning when we started in 2016, was to transform the food system to make fresh, nutritious food accessible to everyone, everywhere. And we are not stopping.

Sam Polk is the CEO of Everytable, a social enterprise in Southern California dedicated to advancing food justice by offering fresh, scratch-cooked, and community-inspired meals that are accessible to all.
Growing up in LA, Sam was exposed to the city's stark inequalities while assisting his mother with homeless medical clinics in Skid Row. Years later, he recognized a critical issue: families in low-income neighborhoods were struggling to access healthy food. This led him to establish Groceryships, a nonprofit focused on addressing the intersection of poverty and obesity.
In 2013, Sam founded Feast (initially Groceryships) to combat food-related health issues in South LA, a community where the average income is $13,000 annually, life expectancy is 10 years shorter than in wealthier areas, and rates of obesity and diabetes are alarmingly high. Feast provides nutrition education, cooking classes, free produce, and support groups to help family food providers make healthier choices.
However, Feast participants often mentioned that while fresh produce was valuable, they frequently had to buy food on the go due to demanding schedules. In South LA, their only options were typically fast food. Recognizing this gap, Sam launched Everytable, a business model designed to offer nutritious food in "food deserts" like South LA at prices competitive with fast food. The name Everytable reflects the company's mission to ensure everyone has access to healthy, affordable meals.
Before becoming a social entrepreneur, Sam was a hedge fund trader on Wall Street. His memoir, For The Love of Money, published in 2016, details his journey from Wall Street to his pursuit of a more meaningful career.
About Everytable
Founded in 2016, Everytable is a mission-driven social enterprise based in Los Angeles that fights for food justice by providing delicious, nutritious, community-inspired meals that are accessible for everyone. Meals are scratch-cooked daily using whole foods ingredients and priced according to the neighborhood being served. In addition to its 38 locations in Southern California, Everytable is a major meal provider for programs that serve seniors, students, and people experiencing homelessness. Since 2020 it has served over 10 million meals to people at risk of hunger. In 2021 Everytable launched a trailblazing Social Equity Franchise program that sets social entrepreneurs from marginalized communities on a pathway to owning multiple Everytable locations. Everytable further seeks to support local communities with its Pay It Forward program which allows guests to purchase meals for those in need.
